Add your voice or sound to a Meme
The easiest way to overlay your voice or sound on a meme image
By definition, memes are shared virally on social media platforms. For memeable images like Tired Spongebob to Pointing Spider-Man, you might want to talk over a meme after looking at a still photo. In this article, I’ll describe how to make a meme out of a still photo using a free, online tool. Once you make your meme, you can share it to Tiktok, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, or other social media platforms.
How to overlay your voice on a meme image
Step ①: Open Wavechat
When you first open the app, you will verify your phone number and set up your Profile. Once you’ve done that, click on the record button in the middle of the screen, and start talking!
② Edit your Audio
Press the button again to stop recording. Then press the blue “Image Gallery” button next to it to add a meme photo from your Camera Roll!
③ Save and Share
Once you are happy with your photo, click the “Save” button in the bottom left. You can now share on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, or any other app!
That's how you add an audio overlay to a meme using a free app! I hope that this article helps you tell stories and share entertaining content on Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Please reach out with feedback or ideas for improvement!
